Hannahlyze This is the no bullshit self-help podcast that just can’t help itself. Each week the two Hannah’s take on another challenge to explore their mental health, and provide the listeners with hysterical, strange and candid feedback about their experiences. In season two, Hannah Hart (wildly successful, super fly, very amazing) and her best friend, Hannah Gelb (her middle name is Ruth) host their own intervention - confronting their struggles with perfectionism and its ties to self-worth. With expert guest Hannah Marks to keep them on track, this podcast is what happens when real (funny) friends, face their real (painful) problems, and take on the challenge of change.
Boasting over 5 million followers, HANNAH HART is an entertainer, food enthusiast, and a two-time New York Times Bestselling author (Buffering: Unshared Tales of a Life Fully Loaded, My Drunk Kitchen: A Guide to Eating, Drinking, and Going with Your Gut). Since creating the YouTube series “My Drunk Kitchen”, Hart has co-produced and starred in multiple films, (Camp Takota, Electra Woman and Dyna Girl, and Dirty30), as well as hosted her own show on the Food Network, (I Hart Food). In 2018, Hart launched Hannahlyze This, the self help podcast that just can’t help itself. Hart’s consistent authenticity in her content has established her as one of the most influential voices in the LGBTQ community, as well as gained her recognition as one of Hollywood Reporters New Digital Disrupters, and one of Forbes’ 30 Under 30.
Hannah Gelb grew up in San Diego and knows where all the cats are in her neighborhood (and your neighborhood). She studied Japanese and Linguistics at UC Santa Cruz, where she was written up by her RA freshman year for singing Disney songs too loudly. After college she lived in San Francisco, Oakland, and Berkeley (and has a library card for each city). She once ran away to North Carolina and lived on a homestead. Gelb has held a variety of jobs, but her favorite so far is making Hannahlyze This with Hannah Hart. A visual artist, Gelb enjoys painting with watercolor and has created artwork for the odd book cover and wedding invitation. In her spare time she likes to play old-timey banjo and watch Supernatural with her roommates.
Hannah Marks’ dynamic career has established her as a versatile young actress who has moved effortlessly from one genre to another, shining in both comedy and drama, film and television, as an actress, writer and director. In 2017, Rolling Stone named her one of their 25 Under 25 artists changing the world.
In January 2019 it was announced that Marks will direct the highly anticipated film adaptation of TURTLES ALL THE WAY DOWN, the beloved novel by author John Green (THE FAULT IN OUR STARS). Produced by Fox 2000, the story follows a 16-year old girl with OCD who pursues the mystery of fugitive billionaire Russell Pickett with her eager and most fearless friend. This projects makes Marks one of the youngest female directors ever hired to direct a studio film. Marks is also confirmed to direct the previously black-listed script, THE SWIMSUIT ISSUE, for LD Entertainment and American High.
